A service providing applicants with a license to discharge produced water, including discharge into evaporation ponds, reinjection into very deep wells, or reinjection to maintain pressure levels to enhance oil production

o Ministerial Decision no. 55/2002 Amending Some Provisions of the Regulation on Wastewater Reuse and Discharge
o The technical specifications of licenses issued by the Environment Authority

Recent water sample analysis report issued by a laboratory approved by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion
Detailed plan/layout of the injection well
Geological map of the area
o For renewal to discharge (by reinjection into injection wells)
Recent water sample analysis report issued by a laboratory approved by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion
Copy of the expired license
o For new applications to discharge into evaporation ponds:
Detailed plan/layout of the evaporation pond
Report verifying the safe welding of the lining material
o For renewal of applications to discharge into evaporation ponds:
Periodic maintenance report of the evaporation pond
Copy of the expired license
License to discharge (produced water)
Ten (10) working days, subject to submission of all required documents and meeting all requirements
