Environmental License to Operate Combustion Sources

A service providing applicants with a mandatory environmental license for projects that contain a combustion source (boilers, furnaces, power generators and mechanical incinerators)

o To adhere to the following
o Ministerial Decision no. 118/2004 issuing the Regulations for the Control of Air Pollutants Released from Stationary Sources
o The technical specifications of licenses issued by the Environment Authority

o The Environment Authority’s website

• o Technical information report on each combustion source (capacity, design, drawings, photographs of combustion sources and chimneys)
  o Report on control of gaseous emissions from combustion sources
  o Information on the amount of fuel, chimney length, operating time, type of gas used

Environmental license to operate combustion sources

Three (3) renewable years
When applying for renewal, the emissions monitoring report shall be submitted along with a copy of the expired license.
