To adhere to the following:
- Royal Decree no. 114/2001 issuing the Law on Conservation of the Environment and Prevention of Pollution
- Ministerial Decision no. 48/2017 setting the Regulations for Issuing Environmental Permits
- The technical specifications of permits issued by the Environment Authority

Renewable three (3) years
Thirty (30) working days, subject to providing all required documents
- Environmental permit
- Title deed or Lease contract and cadastral sketch
- A copy of the approval issued by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) where project is to be established thereon
- For industrial projects, the approval of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion identifying the annual production capacity
- For mining projects, the approval of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals identifying the site’s coordinates
- Transfer of the following financial guarantee to EA Bank Account for mining projects:
- (OMR 30000) Thirty thousand Omani rials for mining and extraction of gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chrome, laterite, and other minerals
- (OMR 7000) Seven thousand Omani rials for crushers and quarries.
- (OMR 5000) Five thousand Omani rials for automatic screens, prospecting and exploration of gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chrome, laterite, and other minerals
- Environmental impacts assessment study
One thousand five hundred Omani rials (OMR 1,500)
