Environmental Permit for Class C Activities

A service providing applicants with the environmental permit required to undertake a specific activity after verifying its environmental compliance.

To adhere to the following:
- Royal Decree no. 114/2001 issuing the Law on Conservation of the Environment and Prevention of Pollution
- Ministerial Decision no. 48/2017 setting the Regulations for the Issuance of Environmental Permits
- The technical specifications of permits issued by the Environment Authority

 If no environmental study is required: ten (10) working days, subject to providing all required documents
 If an environmental study is required: thirty (30) working days, subject to providing all required documents

Renewable three (3) years

- Environmental permit

- Title deed or lease contract and plot/ cadastral sketch
- A copy of the approval issued by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) where the project is to be established thereon
- For industrial projects, the approval of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion identifying the annual production capacity
- For tourism projects, the approval of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism with interior layouts and exterior blueprints attached
- For agricultural projects, the approval of the Ministry of agriculture, fisheries and water resources identifying the annual production capacity
- Environmental impacts assessment study , if needed
