Paid Entry Permit to Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve

A service providing applicants with an entry permit to the Reserve to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery
Types of permits:
o Visit for adults
o Visit and overnight stay for children under 16
o Visit and diving for adults
o Visit, diving and overnight stay for adults
o Visit for children and students under 16

o To adhere to the following
- Royal Decree no. 6/2003 issuing the Law on Nature Reserves and Wildlife Conservation.
- Royal Decree no. 47/1998 issuing the Financial Law, and its amendments
- Royal Decree no. 23/1996 Establishing Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve.
- Ministerial Decision no. 62/2019 Regulating the Management of the Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve
o Additional conditions:
 Entering or camping is prohibited from May to October. Outside this period, camping is allowed in al Jabal Al Kabeer and Al Joon islands only
 Camping is allowed in places identified by the Environment Authority for a maximum of 12 persons or 5 tents.
 The permit holder shall abide by the laws and regulations in force that aim to protect the wildlife and nature reserves of the Sultanate of Oman
 Tampering with fishermen’s nets and cages is strictly prohibited.
 Barbequing is allowed only in the designated stationary and mobile barbeque sites in the two aforementioned islands where camping is permitted.
 Collection or destruction of corals and marine species while diving is strictly prohibited.
 Tampering, disturbing and touching nesting turtles or their eggs is strictly prohibited.
 Visitors are not allowed to bring plants, seeds, cats, dogs or any other animals to Dimaniyat Islands.
 Cutting plants or vegetation inside the Reserve is strictly prohibited.
 Garbage shall be disposed of in the designated waste disposal containers.
 Lights and fire must be put out after 09:00 pm.
 All instructions set out in Decision no. 62/2019 Regulating the Management of the Reserve shall be followed.
