Permit for Diving Companies and Centers to Practice Diving Activities

A service offered to companies and diving centers that wish to practice diving activities outside nature reserves for training individuals or undertaking tourist diving programs.
1- Application submitted electronically on the Environment Authority’s website with all required documents
2- Application consideration and evaluation
3- Approval of application
4- Electronic payment of permit fees
5- Receipt of permit
o To adhere to the following:
- The Regulations Organizing Diving Activities in the Marine Environment outside the Boundaries of Nature Reserves issued by Ministerial Decision no. 40/2009, and all applicable laws and regulations
o The technical specifications of permits issued by the Environment Authority

o The Environment Authority’s website
o Approval of the competent authorities (Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology - Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority)
o title deed or valid lease agreement of the building
o Names and diving certificates of trainers
o Valid registration and insurance policies of the boats used for diving activities
o Photographs of the boats used for diving activities
Permit for enterprises and diving centers to practice diving activities
A renewable period of one (1) year
One (1) working day, subject to submission of all required documents and meeting all requirements
Two hundred Omani rials (OMR 200)
