Permit to Import/Export/Re-export Endangered Wildlife Listed in CITES Convention Appendices

A service providing applicants with a permit to import/export/re-export endangered species of wild fauna and flora or their products and derivatives listed in the Appendices of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)

o To adhere to the following
- Royal Decree no. 114/2001 issuing the Law on Conservation of the Environment and Prevention of Pollution, and relative Executive Regulations.
- Royal Decree no. 6/2003 issuing the Law on Nature Reserves and Wildlife Conservation
- Royal Decree no. 117/2007 approving Oman’s Accession to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

 Letter from the exporter providing species data
o For export:
 Sample collection permit or possession certificate
 CITES preliminary certificate from country of import
o For re-export:
 CITES preliminary certificate from country of import

 CITES certificate
o For export:
 Possession certificate or sample collection permit
o Samples:
 Copy of sample collection permit for species listed in CITES appendices

o CITES Certificate
