The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs carried out a campaign to clean and cultivate 300 seedlings of the trees of Al-Khafry in the Wilayat of Barka in cooperation with the Omani Women Society in the Wilayat of Barka and the schools of Thabit bin Qais for Basic Education (5-10) and Asma bint Al-Numan School for Basic Education. Sahel in the state of Barka.
This campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs to introduce the importance of the trees of the mangroves and instilling the principles of environmental education for all segments of the community.
It also aims at instilling in participants the various skills, scientific environmental information and field skills necessary for the community to contribute to all the programs and activities of the ministry aimed at spreading a sound environmental culture and calling for joint efforts in instilling conscious environmental education among the promising generation through schools and various field activities
