A memorandum of understanding was signed on November 18, 2004 on cooperation in the field of forests between the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment and Water Resources in the Sultanate of Oman and the National Forest Department of the People's Republic of China.
A draft memorandum of understanding has been prepared between the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, and Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, and it is currently under consideration
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was provided with the proposed areas of cooperation.
Meeting was held in The Hague in June 2008 and areas for common environmental cooperation between the two countries were identified.
Experiences and aspects of cooperation have been exchanged through the ninth meeting of the committee on June 4-5, 2007.
